How it works
How NAD+ works, step by step

- 01A cell helper molecule
NAD+ is a coenzyme, a small helper molecule your cells use to run many of their chemical reactions.
- 02Moves energy along
It picks up electrons as food is broken down and carries them to the mitochondria, which use them to make ATP, the energy cells run on.
- 03Used by key enzymes
NAD+ is also used up by enzymes such as sirtuins and PARPs, which take part in DNA repair and in turning genes on and off.
Studies in animals and people link aging with lower NAD+ levels in some tissues, but whether raising NAD+ helps people is not yet known. Human research on NAD+ given directly is very small, such as an 11-man IV pilot that only tracked blood and urine levels; most human trials used oral building blocks like NR or NMN instead.

Research vs. compounded
You inject it. Know who made it
Research peptides are sold "for research use only", yet FDA warning letters say sellers mean them for people. Independent tests keep finding wrong doses and bacterial toxins. A compounded prescription is made for you by a licensed U.S. pharmacy, after a licensed U.S. provider says yes.
